PAxxP - Programmable Pulsed Arc Power Supply Range

The PAxxP range of programmable pulsed arc power supplies provide accurate, process controlled solder free coil and wire termination in industries such as communications, medical, military, aerospace and automotive. The machines are suitable for standalone laboratory use or for high speed multi output applications in automatic production lines.

The programmable range offer significant setup and monitoring advantages over prior ranges, boasting greater accuracy and user flexibility.

The pulsed arc process is extensively used in coil winding and termination applications where there is a need to join insulated or non insulated wire to a contact point or pin with high reliability, integrity and repeatability. The process removes the need to strip back insulation or apply solder, by burning back and fusing the parts with a short micro arc.  The welding time is typically <100mS and requires no cleaning making it well suited to automated manufacture.

Typical applications for the process include, Relay and solenoid coils, Ignition coils, voice coils, microphones, reed switches, sensors, automotive electronics, SMD and conventional wound components.
